University of Manitoba – “Two Ways of Knowing” Book
Government & Institutions, Non Profits & Charities, Publishers
To celebrate the 2010 International Polar Year, the WSO presented a concert featuring new works by its Composer-In-Residence, Vincent Ho, and Canadian distinguished guest composer, Derek Charke, inspired by their Arctic journeys. This evening brought together many of the top climate change scientists from all over the world and included a special presentation by Dr. David Barber, launching his book “Two Ways of Knowing.”
This incredible literary compilation–designed by Relish–was a monumental achievement by David and Doug Barber and provided inspiration and financial support for the further study of climate change, with all proceeds going to the creation of bursaries at the University of Manitoba in support of exploration in the field of Arctic System Science.
