Background

The Canadian Museum for Human Rights opened its doors to the public for the first time in September, 2014. This architectural wonder of the Winnipeg skyline was years in the making, from the first time Israel Asper dreamed of a museum dedicated to human rights in the summer of 2000 to today.

What We Made

Relish worked closely with the Museum staff and Friesens printing company to curate and produce a book to chronicle the journey from conception to inauguration of the museum – From Darkness to Light: The Building of the Canadian Museum for Human Rights. Featuring stunning photography, this coffee table book was completed under tight timelines in order to be ready in time for the opening ceremonies.
